2019 JCC Long Beach Art Pavilion Mural

In 2019, several volunteers teamed up with JCC Cares, the volunteer arm of the Long Beach Alpert Jewish Community Center chaired by Amber Vera Mendoza, to create an educational mural and art garden for children at the JCC preschool program. Mel Morgan, founder of VERB, was inspired by the mural and garden experience to create VERB. While the mural took Amber and Mel days upon days upon days to complete, it was a true labor of love. And, it was a reminder that good ideas, when put into action, can bring joy to many.
